This page displays a variety of steps we've installed.

Along with steps, this newly installed pool also required the installation of retaining walls to keep soil from washing out from under the cement.

Here,
the brick, steps & landscaping add the finishing
touch to this new pool.

The steps, retaining walls and landscaping adds some natural beauty. We used rock instead of mulch for the ground cover. This helped to keep debri out of the pool. Click to enlarge. (1990)

The wider top step is a real plus when entering the home with your hands full. Constructed with Brown's materials. Color is Timmins. Click to enlarge. (2006)

Here, at the side door,
we made the top step wider than the bottom.  This allows for a comfortable easy entry.

This type of step is both stylish and very durable. It can be utilized in many different entrance situations. Brown's materials. Color is Timmins. Click to enlarge. (2006)

This step is made from grey Keystone retaining wall material. It allows for the installation of a brick half circle. It is a sturdy affordable chioce. Click to enlarge. (1995)                These steps were made from Michigan Sandstone. They make an attractive accent to the patio. Click to enlarge. (1995)              This brick walk is wide enough to place some potted plants. The walk and steps were constructed from Uni-lock materials. The color is Beechwood. Click to enlarge. (2006)

This walk and patio was poorly constructed. The homeowner was elderly and had a difficult time using this entrance.

before
The entrance walk was steep and unstable.
after
Adding a step made the patio more appealing, easier to access and safer.
(2007)

New landscaping and retaining walls were also installed. We made the grade of the soil in front of the entrance less steep adding to an easier, safer access. We used Brown's materials. The color is Autumn. Click to enlarge. (2007)

before
At first glance these steps may look appealing.  But, the sill is missing and the construction is poor.  The black bag is covering loose brick on the step.

after
We replaced the sill & installed a sturdy double step. It is now safe and has the proper pitch.
